I questioned him on the purpose of his mission.
At first he said “…he didn’t know and to just give him the answer…”.
After asking the same question a few times, he told me it was to collect the most amount of fish. As soon as he talked through the purpose he became calmer and quickly worked out a clear strategy to overcome the challenges.
My son’s dilemma is so similar to projects. When we are surrounded by challenges, it’s very easy to go with the first answer. Yet is this always the most aligned action to achieve our purpose?
