A guide to engage the right people on your projects

Knowing who to engage on your project can be the difference between continuous re-work and a valued project, delivered on time that people want to adopt. By not speaking to enough of the right people you run the risk of creating a solution which is not fit-for purpose to your immediate or indirect stakeholders.

In this guide I use the term ‘right people’. In this context the right people will to help the project to:

• Increase the value to stakeholders
• Improve adoption
• Enhance usability
• Accelerate progress and time
• Avoid unnecessary re-work
• Increase ease and speed of achieving sign off
• Draw out unanticipated risks and issues
